SKG Financial Services is a women-led Melbourne practice — sister to the established RTO compliance consultancy SKG Consulting Services — purpose-built to bring qualified Chartered Accounting and registered tax-agent capability to the same clients we’ve been advising on regulation for years.
The training sector is one of the most heavily scrutinised industries in Australia. Its accountants should be too.
Khushboo Gupta founded SKG Consulting Services in Melbourne to help Registered Training Organisations navigate ASQA’s ever-evolving compliance landscape. Year after year, the same conversation kept surfacing: “Our accountant doesn’t understand RTO finances.”
Generic accountants treat tuition revenue, TPS reconciliations, and FVRA modelling as edge cases. For an RTO, they’re the centre of the business. SKG Financial Services exists to close that gap — bringing Chartered Accountant credentials, Registered Tax Agent status, and direct RTO sector fluency to the same clients SKG Consulting has supported for years on the compliance side.
It also means SKG can offer general tax and business clients something rarer than usual: an accountant who treats every working paper as if a regulator is going to read it. Because in our other practice — they often do.
Two Chartered Accountants. Combined, more than two decades of practice across Australia, the United Kingdom, and India.
Khushboo founded SKG with a finance-first approach to regulatory practice. A Chartered Accountant (ICAI, since 2006), CPA Australia member, TPB Registered Tax Agent (#26058776), and ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor, she brings nearly two decades of practice across tax, audit, financial reporting, and education compliance.
She is the founder of SKG Consulting Services, a Melbourne RTO & CRICOS compliance consultancy serving providers across Australia.
Pallavi brings fourteen years of audit and accounting practice across India and the United Kingdom — including Big 4 audit at Deloitte, followed by senior roles at Fidelity, BNP Fund Services, Ocorian Fund Services, and Langham Hall.
Her background in fund accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance for financial services firms gives SKG clients access to a level of technical rigour typically reserved for institutional engagements.
