Individual tax returns.

Personal returns prepared by a Chartered Accountant. Optimised deductions, audit-tight substantiation, and rolling support across the year — not just at EOFY.

Who it’s for i.

If your tax situation is straightforward — one PAYG employer, no investments — almost any agent can lodge it. Our value comes in the moment your situation gets layered: you bought a rental property, sold shares, started a side business, moved between Australia and overseas, or your return now requires more than the standard supplementary schedules.

That’s where you want a Chartered Accountant looking at your numbers, not a seasonal preparer.

Returns we typically prepare

  • PAYG salary earners with multiple income sources or work-related deductions
  • Sole traders & ABN holders — with full P&L preparation
  • Rental property investors — with depreciation schedules, repair vs improvement analysis, and CGT events
  • Share & managed fund investors — including ETF tax statements and CGT calculations
  • Australian residents with foreign income, foreign tax credits, or DAA considerations
  • Inbound and outbound expats with part-year residency complexity
  • Voluntary disclosures & amendments to prior-year returns

Business tax returns.

Companies, trusts, partnerships, and sole-trader businesses — year-end accounts, tax effect accounting, and structuring advice. Delivered by a Chartered Accountant.

What we do ii.

For owner-managed businesses, the tax return is rarely just a tax return. It’s a moment where structuring decisions, distribution choices, and cash flow planning all converge. We treat it that way — not as an annual compliance ticket.

Entity types we lodge for

  • Pty Ltd companies — full company tax returns with reconciliations
  • Discretionary trusts (family trusts) — including Trustee Resolution preparation
  • Unit trusts & hybrid trusts — with unit register reconciliation
  • Partnerships — including partnership distribution statements
  • Sole trader business returns — integrated with the individual return

Pairs naturally with

Most business return clients combine year-end with monthly or quarterly BAS and bookkeeping support, so the year-end position is never a surprise. RTO clients additionally engage our RTO accounting practice for sector-specific treatment.

Common questions

Things people ask us.

If you don’t see your question here, it’s the right thing to raise on the first call.

What’s the typical turnaround for a standard return?

Personal returns: 5–10 business days from receipt of complete information. Business returns vary based on entity complexity and bookkeeping state — typically 2–4 weeks. We give a firm timeline at the engagement letter stage.

Do you work with clients outside Melbourne?

Yes — we serve clients across all Australian states, conducting consultations via secure video call and document exchange via our encrypted client portal. Most engagements never require an in-person meeting.

What if I’ve got prior-year returns to catch up on?

We handle catch-up lodgements regularly — including voluntary disclosures where required. The earlier you raise it, the better your position with the ATO, particularly around penalty remission requests.

How do you price tax engagements?

Personal returns are priced per return based on complexity (we quote upfront after the consultation, no surprises). Business engagements are typically scoped as a fixed annual fee covering BAS, year-end accounts, and the tax return. We don’t bill in hourly increments for routine compliance work.

Are you registered with the Tax Practitioners Board?

Yes. The practice operates under TPB registration #26058776 and complies with the TPB Code of Professional Conduct. You can verify our registration directly on the TPB public register at tpb.gov.au.
